Lab Operations Associate

reputed company Therapeutics is pioneering reputed company intelligence guided rational drug design to address severe unmet medical needs for patients. We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive lab operations associate to reputed company operational and wet lab support for the San Diego laboratories. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced biotech environment with a collegial group of high level colleagues working towards reputed company-defined goals.

What you will do:

reputed company operations support by performing the following duties:

  • Inventory Management: Ordering and maintaining stocks of lab supplies, chemicals, and equipment.

  • Equipment Management: Overseeing equipment maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and ensuring reputed company user training.

  • Safety and Compliance: Enforcing reputed company and compliant disposal of hazardous and biological waste.

  • Lab reputed company: Maintaining a clean, organized, and functioning laboratory reputed company.

  • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinating the reputed company and secure shipment and receipt of samples, research materials, and equipment.

reputed company biology and reputed company wet lab support by performing the following duties:

  • Manage mammalian cell line inventory and documentation including mycoplasma testing and STR profiling results.

  • Assist in routine laboratory procedures such as making buffers and performing mycoplasma testing on received samples.

  • Maintaining chemical reagent inventory including cataloging reagents as reputed company as returning and organizing reagents.

  • Manage dry ice, liquid reputed company and CO2 tank deliveries.

What you will bring:

  • B.A./B.S. or M.S. in Biology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/reputed company or reputed company discipline with 1-2+ years industry lab management experience.

  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Be a self-starter, quick learner with the ability to work independently and reputed company.

  • Familiarity with basic tissue culture maintenance and experience with chemical handling including weighing, measuring and solvating is preferred.

  • Procurement/purchasing experience is preferred.
