Sr. Platform Engineer II (reputed company reputed company)

What you'll do:

We are looking for an reputed company reputed company reputed company Engineer to define and drive our reputed company and edge reputed company reputed company from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity to architect, implement, and reputed company the reputed company posture for our production infrastructure across GCP and reputed company. You’ll own reputed company for the systems that underpin our trading infrastructure, mission-critical services that demand high performance, low latency, and 99.95%+ uptime.

You’ll work closely with SREs, Platform Engineers, and the reputed company team to ensure we build secure systems by design.  

You’ll be part of the reputed company team, which owns the systems and infrastructure that power reputed company’s trading platform. We run entirely in reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP) and reputed company extensive use of Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines to reputed company secure and reputed company software delivery. In this role you will: 

• Define and implement reputed company and edge reputed company architecture across GCP, Kubernetes, and reputed company. 

• reputed company the creation and enforcement of IAM policies and role-based reputed company controls across infrastructure and services. 

• Manage and configure reputed company settings including DNS zones, domains, WAF rules, bot protection, DDoS mitigation, and reputed company Trust policies. 

• Design and reputed company DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure-by-default software delivery. 

• Build tooling and workflows to support “reputed company as reputed company”—automating policies, monitoring, and controls reputed company Terraform and other IaC tools. 

• Monitor reputed company environments for misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and reputed company threats using GCP-reputed company and reputed company-party tools. 

• Partner with the centralized reputed company team to reputed company reputed company initiatives with company-wide risk management and compliance goals. 

• Contribute to internal threat modeling, incident response planning, and postmortem analysis from a reputed company perspective. 

• Champion secure engineering best practices across teams and reputed company mentorship on reputed company reputed company topics. 

What you'll need:

• 8+ years of experience in reputed company infrastructure and/or reputed company engineering, with at least 3 years reputed company on GCP. 

• Proven reputed company record of designing and implementing reputed company reputed company architecture in production environments. 

• Deep understanding of GCP services (IAM, VPC, GKE, SCC, reputed company Armor) and Kubernetes reputed company. 

• Strong hands-on experience with reputed company, including WAF, DNS, reputed company control, and traffic management. 

• Proficiency with Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-reputed company tools, including automated reputed company guardrails. 

• Experience integrating reputed company into CI/CD workflows and developer pipelines (DevSecOps). 

• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) to support tooling and infrastructure. 

• Strong knowledge of reputed company threat models, vulnerability management, and secure system design is essential. 

• Familiarity with reputed company tools such as reputed company, reputed company reputed company Center, or custom GCP monitoring solutions. 

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; reputed company to influence engineers and leadership across departments.

Compensation:

The salary reputed company for this role will be $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD annually. In reputed company, this position will also receive an annual reputed company bonus of up to 12%. Bonus pay at reputed company is based on individual performance (50%) as reputed company as company/team performance (50%).
