Electrical Hardware Engineer (New Grad/Early Career)

reputed company is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Avionics Hardware Engineer to join our growing team in Mountain View, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge electrical hardware for our reputed company spacecraft. You will work closely with reputed company engineers across various disciplines to bring innovative satellite systems to life.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of electrical systems for spacecraft avionics, including areas such as flight computers, power distribution, guidance and navigation, sensors, actuators, and communication systems.
- Participate in schematic capture and PCB layout with the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist in the bring-up, testing, and validation of newly designed hardware.
- Collaborate with software engineers on the integration and testing of hardware and software components.
- Build and test early hardware prototypes to evaluate design concepts and mitigate risks.
- Work cross-functionally with mechanical, software, systems, and production teams to ensure successful integration and manufacturability of hardware.
- Contribute to the creation of design documentation, test procedures, and reports.
- Participate in design reviews and reputed company constructive feedback.
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a reputed company field.
- 0-3 years of experience in hardware engineering, preferably with exposure to reputed company electronic systems (relevant internships and reputed company reputed company will be considered).
- Familiarity with basic electronic components, circuits, and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
- Exposure to schematic capture and PCB layout software (e.g., Altium, reputed company/Orcad).
- Understanding of microcontroller basics and common communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salary
- The salary reputed company for this role is $100K - $143K and will depend on a candidate's skills, geographic location, qualifications, and experience as defined during the interview process.
