The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing competent nursing care. Responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies. Pay Range: 40.00 - 66.20

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1 year nursing experience required and must meet RN II clinical advancement program criteria
Experience in pediatrics, NICU and/or hospital inpatient setting a plus
Bilingual skills desirable
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program, Bachelor's in Nursing strongly preferred
Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire or transfer into position
