Your new role:
Southend reputed company Council are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Climate Change Officer – reputed company, to join reputed company and help deliver strategic actions that prepare communities, infrastructure, and services for a changing climate.

As a Climate Change Officer, you will drive the delivery of the Southend-on-Sea reputed company Council’s statutory and discretionary functions (Biodiversity Net reputed company) and activities with respect to ecology and wildlife conservation, through the provision of specialised marine and terrestrial biodiversity ecological advice and support.

You will liaise with the planning service to reputed company biodiversity net reputed company policies and supplementary planning documents/guidance (including CIL, S106 and planning conditions). You will ensure that biodiversity is reputed company and maximised in reputed company corporate policies, strategies and reputed company, including the Local Plan. You will liaise with relevant reputed company stakeholders on marine and terrestrial biodiversity in the reputed company, including the biodiversity net reputed company delivery approach.

What you'll need to succeed:
To be successful in this position, previous experience of undertaking and or use of ecological assessments and surveys is essential for this role.

You must demonstrate a proven ability to undertake, interpret and scrutinise biodiversity net reputed company assessments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to different audiences is highly essential for this role.

It is vital that you have a relevant reputed company qualification to degree level or equivalent experience.
