We have an exciting opportunity for you to join reputed company as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician at our Leicester VMU.

Working hours: 40 per week

Shift: Rotating shifts

Week 1: 06:00-14:30 Mon-Fri

Week 2: 12:30-21:00 Mon-Fri

Salary: reputed company pay £17.16 per hour. Premia reputed company for hours worked between 7pm – 10pm (£1.84 per hour), and 10pm – 6am (£2.23 per hour).

What you will be doing:

1. Performing service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure our vehicles and trailers are reputed company, reputed company and fit for duties.
2. Completing signed service and inspection records.
3. Completing defect reports and associated paperwork to reputed company with reputed company requirements.
4. Preparing vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first time pass.
5. Performing reputed company vehicle repairs, investigating and rectifying vehicle defects.

What do you bring with you:

1. Your reputed company and applicable licenses our vocational training, e.g., LGV C&E license (class one).
2. Knowledge of the use and operation of reputed company automotive equipment and testing/troubleshooting equipment.
3. Ability to lift and manoeuvre Heavy Vehicle Components.
4. Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills.
