We’re seeking a passionate, self-motivated <strong>Real Estate Asset Manager</strong> to shape our portfolio’s future and drive exceptional results in a high-trust, growth-focused team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p><strong>-Foster Strategic Partnerships</strong>: Build strong relationships with third-party property management firms</p><p>to optimize occupancy, revenue, and asset performance through effective lease and tenant management.</p><p><strong>-Oversee Portfolio Performance</strong>: Manage commercial real estate properties, partnering with third-</p><p>party firms to ensure top financial and operational outcomes.</p><p><strong>-Drive Financial Performance</strong>: Prepare budgets, analyze variances, and maximize Net Operating</p><p>Income (NOI) while collaborating with accounting for accurate reporting.</p><p><strong>-Support Value-Add Strategies</strong>: Work with the Acquisitions team to implement initiatives that enhance</p><p>portfolio performance.</p><p><strong>-Conduct Property Oversight</strong>: Perform quarterly property visits across the Midwest (up to 25% travel)</p><p>to ensure alignment with Black Kanyon’s vision.</p><p><strong>-Facilitate Transitions:</strong> Support acquisitions, refinancings, and dispositions for seamless portfolio</p><p>transitions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p><p><strong>-A high-performing team player</strong> with high emotional intelligence and strong relationship-building skills.</p><p><strong>-Thrives on collaboration</strong> with exceptional interpersonal skills.</p><p>-A <strong>values-driven</strong> individual embodying our Core Values: <strong>Grit, Humbly Confident, Fun</strong> and <strong>Team</strong></p><p><strong>Player</strong>.</p><p>-A <strong>strategic thinker</strong> with an abundant mindset along with foundational financial analysis skills, adept at</p><p>budgeting and forecasting.</p><p>-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and task management software (e.g., Monday, Trello); familiarity</p><p>with Yardi or AppFolio is a plus.</p><p>-Comfortable with mandatory travel (up to 25%) for quarterly property visits, with potential for broader</p><p>travel as the portfolio grows.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Black Kanyon?</strong></p><p>Join a vibrant, high-trust environment where bold ideas meet creative execution.
