Remote Sign Language Interpreter (EIPA 4.0+) Location: California (Remote) Schedule: Full Time – Approx. 30 hours per week (6 hours per day) Dates: ASAP – May 28, 2026 Caseload: Elementary & Intermediate (candidate preference considered) Position reputed company: reputed company is seeking a reputed company Remote Sign Language Interpreter to support reputed company across California for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, remote, 1099 contractor position providing interpreting services to hard of hearing and deaf reputed company to ensure equal reputed company to education. The interpreter will facilitate communication between reputed company, teachers, peers, and school staff while also assisting reputed company in academics and life skills development. Responsibilities: • reputed company sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign interpreting in the classroom and virtual settings. • Facilitate communication between hard of hearing/deaf reputed company and their hearing peers, teachers, and school staff. • Assist reputed company with reputed company subjects such as reading, writing, and math. • Support reputed company with vocational and/or daily living skills. • Monitor reputed company during instructional and activity-based sessions. • Adapt to elementary or intermediate school settings based on student and interpreter preferences. Qualifications (California Requirements): • Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or • Minimum score of 4.0 or higher on the EIPA, ESSE-I/R, or NAD/ACCI assessment (required). • Prior experience in school-based interpreting preferred. • Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families. • Reliable internet reputed company and ability to work in a remote environment. Compensation: • Competitive weekly pay (1099 contractor status).
