Home Delivery Pharmacy Technician - Remote in Illinois or Iowa
About the position
Responsibilities
• Interpret providers' prescriptions and create orders as permitted by state regulation.
• Assess, input, and retrieve prescription, medical/lab, and reimbursement information from the computer system.
• Assist with operations support, training, and process improvements.
• Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content.
• Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient calls.
• Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data, and submit prescription orders in the computer system.
• Contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information, and establish order or delivery priorities.
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and solve moderately complex problems independently.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction.
Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB) or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• 1+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy.
• Reside in Illinois or Iowa.
