About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Teaching and Learning Strategist (Chemistry) to join our team. As a key member of our Discipline Strategy Teams, you will play a vital role in shaping the pedagogical solutions that drive our digital platforms, including Achieve and other learning tools used in higher education curriculum. Your expertise in chemistry and instructional design will enable you to contextualize the experience of our digital users, develop deep understanding of teaching and learning strategies employed by instructors and students, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and research new pedagogical solutions, evaluating existing products and competitor offerings to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with discipline strategy, pedagogical design, and product development teams to shape and form current revision and iterative update strategies
- Work closely with Program Management to help grow digital sales and activations, providing feedback and insights to inform business decisions
- Develop effective tracking and analysis of Salesforce data, as well as key competitive adoptions, to inform sales and marketing efforts
- Brainstorm, create, and implement innovative strategies to support sales and marketing efforts, both internally and externally
- Contribute to the pedagogical design of the discipline's assessment story, validating author/contributors, and providing feedback on the work of assessment and resource authors
- Provide support to customers, including building courses for VIP instructors, responding to questions, and troubleshooting implementation issues
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Master of Science or PhD in Chemistry or a related field
- 5+ years of experience teaching chemistry at the collegiate level, or in educational publishing (college level a plus), with a deep understanding of the business, its processes, market, and trends
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, monitor, and meet deadlines for multiple complex projects simultaneously, with experience in successful scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to listen to and communicate clearly and strategically with diverse audiences
- Experience working collaboratively with a diverse team, proactively assisting and seeking input from others to achieve organizational goals
- Track record of generating viable new approaches and solutions to problems or challenges in an increasingly digital learning environment
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with instructional or pedagogical design
- Experience in customer outreach or customer service

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will be eligible for a range of perks and benefits, including:
