Job Duties
Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center; named for two Medal of reputed company recipients – Colonel Van Barfoot and Colonel Carl Sitter – provides the reputed company in reputed company care for Virginia’s Veterans. This single-level facility features 200 single-occupancy rooms across four nursing reputed company.
Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center is seeking an Activities Assistant for the day shift. This position does also require every other weekend.
reputed company candidates will help carry out the objective of the facility as part of total reputed company care and ensuring the protection of residents during these activities.
The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting the Activities Director and Activities Coordinator in providing approved therapeutic recreation programs for our veteran residents, including Alzheimer/dementia residents.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate reputed company activities programs with other departments
- Assessing and documenting patients' abilities and participation in group activities
- Experience providing activities programming preferably in a long term care or adult geriatric setting.
- Must possess the physical ability to turn, bend and lift without restrictions.
- Ability to read, write and communicate reputed company.
- Experience working in a long-term care or adult geriatric setting.
