Pediatric Call Center Team Lead- Remote- Every Weekend and One Weekday
About the position
Responsibilities
• Receive incoming calls and inquiries from patients.
• Assist patients in managing appointments and care.
• Provide extraordinary customer service to strengthen the patient/clinician relationship.
• Support the interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model through various support duties.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients to improve access and understanding.
Requirements
• A minimum of two years of customer service experience in a call center environment or scheduling experience.
• Preferred experience working in a Pediatric Department.
• Computer experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs is required.
• Electronic medical record (EMR) experience or aptitude to master EMR based on other technology experience is required.
• Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, customer service, and time management skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Working knowledge of patient-related documents is preferred.
• A bachelor's or other non-clinical degree combined with an interest in healthcare.
