What You'll Be Doing in This Role:

As a CT Technologist with our hospital, you will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing computed tomography (CT) scans and other imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Operating CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Assessing patient conditions and determining the need for CT scans or other imaging procedures
  • Positioning patients for CT scans and ensuring their safety during the procedure
  • Maintaining patient records and communicating with healthcare providers to ensure that imaging results are used effectively
  • Participating in quality improvement activities to ensure that imaging services are delivered safely and effectively

Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Registration: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Certification: Certified by the State of California to practice and administer radiation
  • BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • English Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology: Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
  • Basic Computer Knowledge: Familiarity with basic computer systems and software
  • Proficiency in Imaging Modalities: Proficient in at least two imaging modalities, including CT

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: One (1) year of experience under a Board-Certified Radiologist
