About this Position: Senior Lead Analytics Consultant
Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Analytics Consultant to join our Cards, Retail, and Merchant Services (CRMS) Operations Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth, optimizing customer collections processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your expertise will help us make data-driven decisions, identify opportunities, and execute strategic initiatives that drive long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, developing and influencing analytical approaches to address complex business and technical needs.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners, stakeholders, and professionals across the organization, serving as a subject matter expert and providing guidance on analytics and business insights.
- Lead the development and resolution of complex and unique challenges, providing innovative solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, coordination, and execution of complex activities.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to senior management on implementing revolutionary and big business solutions that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead high-priority initiatives, teams, and/or mentor and manage less experienced staff, interns, and external contractors.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling, or Statistics, or equivalent experience through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and proficiency in SAS, Python, SQL Server development using Management Studio, Integration Services, Reporting Services, and Analysis Services.
- Experience working with multiple database systems, including Oracle, DB2, and Teradata.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry, with a focus on Consumer Lending, including Collections, Servicing, Small Business Lending, Credit Card, Retail Services, Personal Lending, and Deposit products.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple initiatives and teams.
- Experience building partnerships and collaborating with other businesses and functional areas.
