Job Summary

As a Quality Engineer at Newegg, you will be responsible for executing QA and QC activities, including designing exercises, testing, and validation. You will work closely with our design and quality teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your primary objectives will be to develop and implement test plans, conduct testing and analysis, and provide recommendations for design and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute surveys of testing exercises for advancement and conformance
  • Develop itemized test plans for all phases of product testing
  • Develop test methodologies, experiments, and survey results
  • Participate in Bill of Plan evaluations, CTS, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, CTR, and other quality-related activities
  • Provide analysis from tests led and verifiable data
  • Create, maintain, and improve technical documents and formats
  • Develop test advancement timetables and test execution plans
  • Investigate test failures through data analysis and risk of failure in the field
  • Support guarantee claims for internal data
  • Identify and assess potential risks in design and manufacturing that could impact customer quality
  • Collaborate with the design team, quality department, manufacturing, and production
  • Perform capability studies, gage R&R, and main driver investigation procedures
  • Develop and maintain quality records

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of experience in QA/QC, validation, testing, and product development
  • Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and other quality validation processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with testing and validation methodologies
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and tools
  • Certifications in quality engineering or a related field
