We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Cargo Agent to join our team. As a Cargo Agent, you will be responsible for handling cargo and mail shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a remote customer service role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities
- Adequately operate floor support equipment, including tugs, forklifts, and tow tractors.
- Be flexible with work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Work in inclement weather conditions.
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational procedures and tactics while meeting time constraints.
- Correctly load, unload, and deliver mail and cargo to and from planes, ensuring on-time shipments.
- Protect cargo and mail from damage, loss, and climate-related issues.
- Properly drive and operate floor systems, including tugs, forklifts, and tow tractors, in areas of congestion.
- Repeatedly carry and load shipments onto carts and ensure each shipment reaches its destination.
- Operate scanners and computers to ensure mail and cargo are routed correctly to the destination.
- Practice safety-aware behaviors in all operational approaches and techniques.

- Have a valid driver's license.
- Be able to drive and safely operate a forklift, baggage tug, and tow tractor.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to understand precise job instructions.

- Have basic computer skills.
- Be able to correctly complete applicable training instructions.
- Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, in all weather conditions.
- Be able to work in various climates, both inside and outside the warehouse.

- Be able to obtain and maintain an airport badge with a customs seal.
- Pass an in-depth post-offer pre-employment background check, including fingerprinting and a criminal records check, as required by federal law.
