About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Engineer to join our team in a remote work arrangement. As a Technical Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering technical solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design and develop technical solutions, and ensure that our applications and systems are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Product Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Gathering, creating, planning, and maintaining business requirements for various projects or systems from inception to final execution, ensuring that requirements meet guidelines;
  • Investigating, designing, and maintaining production frameworks/programs/applications;
  • Aiding in the support and communication of project status reports and tracking;
  • Providing effective project cycles and expectations to shorten the project life cycle, where relevant;
  • Working with application support and development teams to fix software bugs and raised issues;
  • Leading goal-to-issue resolution with communicating systems based on various technologies;
  • Working with and participating in regular project status meetings;
  • Converting high-level client requirements into executable, detailed client stories to enable development;
  • Maintaining the product backlog;
  • Leading planning meetings with teams to focus on work in upcoming sprints;
  • Embracing diverse individuals, thinking, and styles;
  • Consistently making safety and security, of self and others, the priority;
  • Having solid experience with discovery, identification, and documentation of processes;
  • Ability to work with multiple IT and business teams to gather and record requirements;
  • Connecting directly and daily with delivery teams to execute the project;
  • Ensuring product acceptance and status at key points of the delivery cycle;
  • Fostering communication materials and leading communication efforts around the product, needs, and future guides;
  • Participating in and leading product planning meetings with the product team;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A bachelor's degree;
  • Experience creating requirements and test cases for automated test suites;
  • Shown expertise with Agile or other fast application development methodologies;
  • Technical skill to apply relevant technical cycles to suitable business needs;
  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve exceptional results;
  • Excellent logical and critical thinking abilities;
  • Energy to proactively direct and drive activities within a team environment;
  • Ability to convey quality work on time and translate planning into it by following established systems or philosophies;

Preferred Qualifications
