- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process transactions on the sales register, collect cash, and distribute change as required.
- Recommend products to clients and suggest alternative items or promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including counters, shelves, and stockrooms.
- Check in and stock merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
- Carry out organization resource protection methods to identify and prevent loss.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items (e.g., tobacco and pharmaceutical products).
- Develop and maintain displays, including seasonal, promotional, and special displays.
- Assist with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked foods) and product placement as determined by strategies/systems.
- Provide customer assistance in the photo area, including digital photo services, banner printing, and sales of special photo products.
- Take on web order responsibilities (screen orders in Picture Care, handle requests, and deliver orders to clients as they arrive at the store).
- Contribute to external and internal support by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-maintained store environment and appearance.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with colleagues.
- Perform unique tasks and other assignments as directed.
