Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to all phases of data science projects, from defining complex business problems to developing and implementing data-driven solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines, collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers, and Product Managers to democratize data and enable a data-driven organization
  • Effectively communicate significant insights to all levels of the organization, tailoring your approach to audiences with varying levels of data science expertise and backgrounds
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including leadership, design, and product teams, to deliver impactful business insights and drive decision-making
  • Apply various machine learning, advanced analytics, and data visualization techniques to diverse datasets across the organization

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Economics, or Engineering)
  • Results-oriented mindset and in-depth data science skills, with a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven track record of extracting insights from data, building machine learning models, and driving business outcomes, particularly in business analysis or a related field
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with expertise in standard data science libraries and frameworks such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and PySpark
  • Experience with at least one data visualization tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets, both structured and unstructured, and to develop creative solutions to data challenges
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud, and experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
  • Experience with data storytelling and presentation, with a portfolio of examples demonstrating your ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences

Compensation and Benefits
