About the Role: Shareholder Communications Specialist
We're looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to support our National Campaigns Unit, which provides critical shareholder communications for public companies. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for handling inbound, outbound, and email interactions with shareholders, ensuring timely and effective communication during contested proxy meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to shareholder inquiries via phone, email, and other channels, providing accurate and helpful information to address their concerns.
- Communicate the company's message and position to shareholders, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions.
- Handle a high volume of calls and emails in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple interactions simultaneously.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure when dealing with challenging or sensitive situations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to stay informed about company updates, proxy materials, and other relevant information.
- Participate in training and coaching sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills, ensuring you stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED: A foundational education that demonstrates your ability to learn and grow.
- 6+ months of Customer Service Experience: Proven track record of delivering excellent customer experiences in a call center or related environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and professional communication is critical in this role.
- Grammar and English Proficiency: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, with a strong command of grammar and syntax.
- Technical Requirements: Own a suitable computer, headset, and internet connection (see below for specific requirements).
Preferred Qualifications:

- Dual Monitor Setup: Ability to work efficiently with multiple screens and applications.
Technical Requirements:
- Computer: MacBook (current operating system) or Windows (10 or 11) – no Lenovo, Chromebooks, etc.
- Headset: USB headset (no wireless) for clear and reliable communication.
- Internet Speed: 50 download/10 upload to ensure seamless interactions.
- Active Participation: Ability to unmute when called upon, have materials open and ready, and participate in chat tasks as required.
