About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the frontline ambassador for Signature Performance, handling incoming calls and correspondence from healthcare providers, veterans, and beneficiaries in Nebraska. Your mission will be to resolve queries efficiently, ensuring high caller satisfaction and first call resolution rates. You'll work closely with our clients to gather necessary information, make determinations on claims, and document interactions accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer-focused, courteous service to ensure first call resolution and achieve quality scores while maintaining production standards.
- Research and evaluate medical claims and benefits for proper adjudication, utilizing client systems, soft phone systems, and customer relationship management software.
- Document call activity and make requests for corrective action into VA systems, maintaining a working knowledge of applicable VA regulations.
- Maintain access to all client systems as assigned and act as an effective team member.
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or related field.
- General office skills and knowledge of standard office equipment.
- Proficiency in software applications such as Excel and Word.
- Data entry and 10-key experience.
