Job Description:
The Electrician and Instrumentation Specialist will install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and instrumentation devices. The role involves configuring control systems, calibrating instruments, and interpreting complex schematics in manufacturing, energy, or water treatment environments. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to implement improvements and ensure equipment reliability.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation work
Strong knowledge of PLC systems, control wiring, and panel installation
Experience with pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement instruments
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing both electrical circuits and field instruments
Understanding of NEC and ISA standards
Ability to read P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control schematics
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must pass background check and drug screening
Responsibilities:
Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and electrical systems
Perform loop checks, troubleshoot signal paths, and verify instrument accuracy
Interpret technical drawings and schematics
Collaborate with engineers and project managers on design and installation tasks
Maintain records of testing and repair activities
Support preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
Ensure work is done in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
