Remote Financial Data Entry Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Remote Financial Data Entry Assistant to accurately input, manage, and maintain financial records and data in our systems. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality. This role is fully remote and requires excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter and update financial data (invoices, receipts, expenses, payroll, accounts payable/receivable) into company databases or accounting software.
• Verify accuracy of financial records and correct errors when identified.
• Maintain digital financial files, spreadsheets, and documentation.
• Assist with reconciliation of accounts and preparation of basic financial reports.
• Communicate with finance or accounting teams to clarify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company data security and confidentiality policies.
• Meet established deadlines for data entry tasks.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or accounting coursework preferred).
• Prior experience in data entry, accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related role is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills.
