Chembio Diagnostics, Inc. is seeking a Marketing & Digital Communications Specialist to support U.S. marketing initiatives with a strong emphasis on digital marketing, creative design, and campaign execution. This role is instrumental in driving branding initiatives, digital engagement, and product launch support that contribute directly to business growth and market presence.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, you will plan and execute multi-channel campaigns, design engaging marketing assets, manage the company’s online presence, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated strategies. This position offers the opportunity to blend digital expertise with creative design and market insights to help advance Chembio’s mission in healthcare diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Content
Plan, develop, and manage multi-channel digital campaigns (email, landing pages, social media, awareness day initiatives, live video content).
Maintain and update company websites (WordPress) with fresh content, graphics, and product information in coordination with the development team.
Monitor campaign performance and provide analytics reports for management to inform strategy and optimize results.
Creative Design & Branding
Design and edit marketing assets (brochures, sales collateral, trade show graphics, and digital content) using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Develop and distribute marketing and sales materials aligned with product strategies to support sales growth.
Ensure regulatory and brand consistency through the internal content review and approval process.
Market Insights & Sales Support
Conduct competitive and market analysis to guide positioning, messaging, and campaign strategies.
Contribute to product lifecycle management through marketing input, regulatory-related updates (package inserts, labeling, quick reference guides), and product positioning.
Provide sales team support with updated marketing tools, training resources, and CRM data management.
Events & Trade Shows
Manage creative and digital elements of trade shows and marketing events, including booth graphics, event campaigns, and product demonstrations.
Participate in select events and exhibitions (approx. 10% travel required).
Collaboration & General Support
Partner with agencies, vendors, and internal teams (Sales, Regulatory, Operations, Quality) to execute integrated marketing strategies.
Support training programs for distributors and sales reps.
Provide regular updates on marketing initiatives and project status to management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Biology, or a related field.
1–3 years of marketing experience, ideally within diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare.
Strong background in digital marketing and creative design preferred.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in email marketing, social media management (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok), and campaign analytics.
Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Experience with WordPress for website management and content optimization.
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Other Requirements

Based in Medford, NY; remote work may be considered for exceptional U.S.-based candidates.
