Our institution offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including the College of Education, which is seeking to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time Adjunct Faculty appointments in School Counseling.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced educator to join our team as a Fall Adjunct Faculty member in School Counseling. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching online courses, holding office hours, and assisting students as needed. This is a part-time, temporary appointment, assigned per semester and on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach up to nine (9) semester credit hours within the required discipline at the online site as dictated by student demand
  • Hold office hours and assist students as needed
  • Develop and deliver engaging online course content
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Participate in departmental and university-wide meetings and events

Education and Experience

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Education or a related field
  • At least three years of EC-12 teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level
  • Previous online teaching experience at the collegiate level
