Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified High School Teaching Professional to instruct students in the HVAC-Residential Wiring Program. As a teaching professional, you will be responsible for providing students with a comprehensive education in the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in HVACR and residential wiring. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with industry standards and program requirements
- Instruct students in the basic skills related to HVACR and residential wiring, including safety procedures, equipment operation, and system maintenance
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet program requirements
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to ask questions and explore new ideas

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the HVACR/Residential Wiring field
- EPA 608 Certification required
- Valid Professional Educator License that is current and registered in DuPage County with endorsement in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology/Technician
- Meet all qualifications for the appropriate license through the Illinois State Board of Education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed related apprenticeship program and/or college degree in a related field
- At least two years of directly related work experience (for candidates with valid ISBE teaching licenses)
- Official transcripts showing 60 semester hours of credit from a recognized educational institution (for Career and Technical Education License)
- Documented evidence of 2,000 hours of work experience in the skill area (for Career and Technical Education License)
- Documented evidence of 8,000 hours of work experience in the specific skill area to be taught (for Provisional Career and Technical Education License)
