About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for Aetna Medicaid members and providers, responding to inbound calls and resolving their queries in a timely and professional manner. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to incoming calls from members and providers, addressing their requests and concerns regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, and additional benefits and programs.
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information to resolve customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Utilizing excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized support.
- Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality objectives, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Working independently as a remote representative, requiring a strong ability to self-motivate and manage your workload effectively.
- Maintaining a reliable and secure internet connection via an ethernet link, as Wi-Fi is not permitted.
- Occasionally traveling to the Richmond, VA office when unable to telecommute due to prolonged technical issues.
Essential Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
