Job Summary
As a Call Center Representative, you will work in a fast-paced, remote environment, handling high-volume customer requests, and resolving complex issues. You will utilize Walgreens' proprietary systems to access patient and medication information, process data entry tasks, and communicate with patients, prescribers, and healthcare providers. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient enrollment and information section tasks in accordance with state and government guidelines.
- Utilize Walgreens' proprietary systems to access patient and medication information, process data entry tasks, and resolve exceptions.
- Handle high-volume customer requests, including inbound calls, visits, and messages, and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed.
- Resolve third-party oddballs by assessing, gathering information, making remedies, and resubmitting for processing.
- Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed.
- Obtain and maintain an active pharmacist license or certification within the first 90 days of employment.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer skills, including ability to start and close programs, use a mouse, and access data online.
- Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing files).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 18 years old or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
- At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a state-recognized certification or nationally recognized certification.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
- Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing files).
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
