Job Summary
As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing support to our provider network, participants, healthcare member services, and other departments. Your primary duties will include assisting with treatment scheduling, data entry, system support, and responding to health plan participant questions or concerns. You will be the face of UnitedHealth Group, providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Provider Network and Participants: Provide application support, user support, and system support to our provider network, participants, and healthcare member services.
- Treatment Scheduling: Assist participants and providers with treatment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and reassignments.
- Data Entry: Perform data entry for demographic information for participants, providers, and healthcare member services.
- System Support: Provide basic system support and answer general program questions for participants, providers, and healthcare member services.
- Scheduling Treatment Sessions: Utilize phone, scheduling, and CRM tools to manage consumer/provider data and schedule treatment sessions.
- Customer Service: Leverage established job aids to support, connect, and educate participants and providers, and apply best practices in responding to health plan participant questions or concerns.
- Accountability: Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure high-quality follow-up in responding to member inquiries.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Customer Service Experience: 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center setting.
- Technical Skills: 1+ year of experience with using Google Suite and Microsoft Office, and 1+ year of experience with using multiple computer systems and learning new systems as needed.
- Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Age and Location: Must be 18 years of age or older and live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection.
- Previous Experience: Previous healthcare customer service experience is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
