Project Manager/Architect
About the position
Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of projects related to space planning, construction, and security.
• Provide senior-level technical support for various projects under the Ninth Circuit Judicial Council.
• Coordinate and facilitate project development involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Represent judiciary objectives to ensure projects meet budgetary and scheduling goals.
• Develop creative solutions to space, facilities, and security-related issues within policy guidelines.
• Maintain clear communication with judges, senior management, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible project management work experience in architecture or construction.
• Experience developing design programs and reviewing construction documents and estimates.
• Ability to review, analyze, and support effective design solutions and cost control measures.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Architect license, any state or NCARB.
• LEED, CASP, or other professional registrations.
• Familiarity with courthouse or public sector construction projects.
• Knowledge of Federal General Services Administration regulations and U.S. Court Design Guide.
