Workwarp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Activity Sponsor for the Spirit Club within the Troy School District in Illinois. As an Activity Sponsor, you will be responsible for providing instruction, leadership, and guidance to students participating in the Spirit Club, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive and competitive spirit.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and leadership for students in the Spirit Club, teaching them the rules, fundamentals, and values of teamwork and competition.
- Maintain accurate records, paperwork, and budgets, ensuring compliance with district regulations and requirements.
- Serve as a positive role model for students, promoting a culture of respect, sportsmanship, and fair play.
- Communicate effectively with district schools, staff, and parents through email and verbal interactions.
- Utilize resources from other work units as needed to perform job functions.
- Participate in mandated training through Global Compliance Network within the first 45 days of employment.
Essential Qualifications
- Current employee of Troy CCSD 30C (preferred) or ability to meet district requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- CPR Certification and certification in the use of an AED.
- Pre-employment medical examination, including tuberculosis clearance.
- Pass a Regional Office of Education Fingerprint/Background Clearance, including Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including 75% physical activity, 10% heavy lifting, 10% standing, and 5% sitting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Related experience in coaching, sponsoring, or leading extracurricular activities.
- Previous experience working with students in a school setting.
- Knowledge of district policies, procedures, and regulations.
