Key Responsibilities

As an Early Intervention Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services, you'll play a vital role in delivering ABA therapy to children with autism in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy sessions to children with autism
  • Collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans
  • Conducting discrete trials, implementing behavior support plans, and treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA Supervisor
  • Collaborating with BCBA Supervisors to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
  • Responding to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintaining a goal-oriented approach and professionalism in all aspects of your work
  • Arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as an Early Intervention Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) - not required but preferred
  • 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
  • The ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills
  • Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-year ABA experience
  • Experience working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
