About the Role: Certified English Tutor (Remote)

We're seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate online English teachers to join our Preply community. As a Preply tutor, you'll have the freedom to teach English online to students worldwide, on your own schedule, and at your own price. You'll be responsible for coaching, tutoring, and helping students achieve their language learning goals, making a meaningful impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, creating engaging lessons that cater to their needs
• Develop your own lesson plans or utilize Preply's curriculum to ensure comprehensive learning
• Set your availability and schedule lessons with students using Preply's integrated calendar
• Access training and professional development opportunities through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars
• Provide high-quality instruction, feedback, and support to students, helping them achieve their language goals
• Utilize Preply's platform to track student progress, retrieve payments, and access resources

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
• A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes, preferably online, with proven results and a track record of success
• Ability to provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs, tailoring lessons to their goals
• A high-speed internet connection, ensuring seamless online teaching
• Energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful, with a passion for teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with online language teaching platforms, such as Preply
• Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds
• Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to adjust to changing student needs and circumstances

• Patience and empathy, with a student-centered approach to teaching
• Technical skills, including proficiency in using Preply's platform and other digital tools
