Job Summary

We're seeking an exceptional Math Instructor / Tutor to join our team in Wellington, FL. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to create engaging and productive learning experiences for students, work collaboratively with colleagues, and build strong relationships with parents. This is a part-time role with flexible hours, offering a unique blend of personal fulfillment and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students using the Mathnasium Method^TM
• Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value
• Become proficient in digital educational materials and processes, leveraging technology to enhance student learning
• Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery, adapting to the needs of students and the learning environment
• Assess student progress throughout instructional sessions, working collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback and guidance
• Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment, contributing to a positive and inclusive atmosphere
• Assist with non-teaching and instructional tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A passion for math and working with students, with a strong desire to make a positive impact
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Exceptional math competency through at least Pre-Calculus, with a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and principles
• The ability to balance various ongoing tasks, prioritizing responsibilities and managing time effectively
• A willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method^TM, embracing our unique approach to math education

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued:

• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring math, with a proven track record of success
• A degree in mathematics, education, or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation
• Familiarity with digital educational tools and platforms, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems
