Key Responsibilities

• Teach students in grades K-12 based on their customized learning plans, helping them to grasp math concepts and develop problem-solving skills.
• Assist students with homework completion and provide guidance on math-related assignments.
• Deliver high-quality instruction, adapting to the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
• Participate in paid training to familiarize yourself with Mathnasium's curriculum, teaching strategies, and team teaching methods.
• Work collaboratively with other instructors to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed as a Math Teacher/Tutor at Mathnasium, you will need:

• Strong math proficiency up to Algebra (proficiency through Geometry and Calculus is preferred).
• Exceptional score on Mathnasium's Math Literacy exam (covering material from 2nd grade and up).
• Availability to work at least 2 weekday shifts (afternoons after 3 pm).
• A clear record on state and national background checks.
