About the Company and Role

VacancyGlobal is excited to present this immediate hiring opportunity for a Senior QA Analyst to join Netflix's Bossfight Recreation Studio. As a remote role, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, collaborating with a cross-functional team to design and execute QA strategies and plans across multiple game portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Test game functionality and performance across various consumer devices, including Android and iOS
• Triaging complex issues and driving them to resolution
• Collaborate with engineering teams and producers to identify requirements and develop test plans
• Define test coverage, create and maintain test cases, report test results, and assess readiness to ship throughout the software development lifecycle
• Work with partners and stakeholders to utilize and enhance testing tools
• Investigate product quality, usability, and device boundaries

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A passion for video games and a commitment to delivering high-quality products
• 4+ years of industry experience in QA, preferably in the gaming industry
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience testing mobile games
• Excellent iOS/Android testing experience
• Professional knowledge of technical requirements, tools, and methodologies
• Experience translating requirements into effective test instances
• Test planning experience for complex features/systems
• Ability to work independently and thrive while focusing on details, including spotting subtle issues, raising concerns, and taking ownership of solutions
• Experience with JIRA, TestRail, and TCM tools
• Capacity to work with internal and external teams, review partners' test results, and maintain all products to the highest levels of quality
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade through feedback, championing and enhancing the user experience
• Deep understanding of accessibility requirements and testing methodologies
• Experience with Unity Editor
• Experience with Perforce

Preferred Qualifications

To further enhance your application, you may possess:

• Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master and/or Product Owner, ISTQB
• Experience with Xcode, using IPAs, and pulling device logs
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems
