Position Highlights and Benefits
As an Overnight Teleradiologist with RAH, you will enjoy a highly competitive compensation package, including:
- Estimated annual compensation: $475,000.00 to $625,000.00
- Start Date Bonus: Up to $100,000.00
- Shift schedule: 1 week (7 days) of overnights on and 2 weeks (14 days) of overnights off, with 10-hour shifts from 8p to 6a or 10p to 8a
- Additional shifts: 20 extra shifts annually, with 10 eligible for additional compensation above base salary
- Clerical support: Radiology assistants provide support and make all phone calls, allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care
- Participating physician track: Eligible for partnership track, with potential for annual bonus compensation after year three
- Moonlighting opportunities: Availability to moonlight internally to augment total compensation
- Reasonable RVU expectation: Without RVU-based financial impact, allowing you to focus on providing excellent patient care
- State-of-the-art technology: Unified, fully integrated, efficient PACS and clinical information systems, as well as AIDoc AI and high-quality diagnostic equipment
Key Responsibilities
As an Overnight Teleradiologist with RAH, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality patient care: Interpreting imaging studies, including CT, MRI, and X-ray, and providing timely and accurate reports to healthcare providers
- Collaborating with healthcare teams: Working closely with radiology assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments: Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in radiology and medical imaging
- Contributing to quality improvement: Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of best practices in radiology
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Board certification: Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent
- Fellowship training: Completion of a fellowship program in Neuroradiology, MSK, Body Imaging, or Emergency Radiology
- Licensure: Current medical licensure in the state of Florida or eligibility for licensure
- Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with healthcare providers and patients
- Strong clinical skills: Proficiency in interpreting imaging studies, including CT, MRI, and X-ray, and providing timely and accurate reports
- Preferred qualifications: Experience with PACS and clinical information systems, as well as AIDoc AI and other advanced imaging technologies
