About the Role
As a Part Time Customer Care Advisor, you will play a vital role in our company's success by providing top-notch customer service to our clients calling from Jamaica with potential warranty claims. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers over the phone, taking accurate details, and communicating effectively to ensure clarity and understanding. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your helpful and empathetic attitude will be essential in making a positive impression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with incoming calls from customers in Jamaica regarding potential warranty claims
- Taking accurate details and communicating effectively with customers to ensure clarity and understanding
- Processing incoming and outgoing emails in a timely and professional manner
- Performing some computer-based administration tasks to support the customer care team
- Maintaining an acceptable level of product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on delivering a positive experience for our customers. You should have:
- Experience in customer service, preferably in a similar industry
- Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to engage with customers and ensure a positive experience
- Basic knowledge of motor vehicle parts (preferred but not essential)
- Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel)
- A familiarity with or knowledge of Patois (Jamaican dialect) could be beneficial
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers
- Attention to detail and ability to work under own supervision
- A good sense of humor and a positive attitude
Working Hours and Benefits
This is a part-time position, working 30-35 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £18,720.00 per year. You will be working remotely, with the flexibility to manage your own schedule. Our working hours are:
- Winter working hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30 pm - 10:30 pm
- Summer working hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30 pm - 11:30 pm
