• Reviewing and placing online orders and returned merchandise in the appropriate areas
• Looking up product information and competitor prices to verify price match and ensure that customers receive the best possible value
• Recording all items used in the store on the store use lists and maintaining accurate records of inventory and sales

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Less than 1 year of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
• 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on mathematics and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

While not required, the following qualifications and experience are preferred:

• 1 to 2 years of experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, protection plans, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits
• 1 to 2 years of experience as a head cashier, with a strong understanding of front-end operations and customer service principles
• 1 to 2 years of experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store, with a strong knowledge of products, services, and company policies
• 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees
• Less than a year of retail experience detecting common signs of shoplifting, including merchandise hidden inside of containers, merchandise under carts, and price labels switched
