The Role: Pharmacy Technician - Remote Order Entry
We are seeking a highly energetic and clinically-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our remote pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting pharmacists and other technicians with daily tasks
- Handling doctor calls and faxes
- Providing excellent customer service to customers
- Working on projects as requested by the Pharmacy Director
- Performing order entry as needed
- Maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with medical professionals and customers
- Utilizing knowledge and understanding of a retail pharmacy
Schedule and Work Environment
The schedule for this role is 7on/7off, Thursday to Wednesday, 11:00am - 9:00pm. This position requires you to work within our licensed pharmacy and not from your home.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- Previous work experience in a hospital setting and/or retail pharmacy (preferred)
- Proven customer service skills
- Registration or licensure as required by the State Board of Pharmacy
- National certification (preferred)
- 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred)
