The Marketing Team Lead is a talented project manager able to oversee the execution of a variety of marketing projects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality phoenixNAP Brand, Product, Lead Gen, Demand Gen, Events, and social media assets, as well as joint- and MDF-funded marketing activities, across multiple channels, and for a wide range of audiences.
In this position, they lead a team of in-house marketing professionals to maintain brand and content compliance while fostering subject matter expertise. They are responsible for establishing task deadlines, coordinating resources, developing workflow requirements, providing quality review, administering a portfolio of marketing tools and software solutions, and maintaining regular and proactive communications with upper management, product, sales, and support teams.
The Marketing Team Lead reports directly to the VP of Marketing & PR regarding project progress and potential campaign and activity roadblocks.
Location: Serbia
Working hours: 40h/week, Monday-Friday. To properly interface and meet with US-based stakeholders, this position is also expected to have the ability and willingness to work a dedicated schedule of 11:00 am to 7:00 pm CET.
Key Job Requirements:
Marketing Programme Management:
- Serves as primary Marketing Team stakeholder to coordinate and supervise the execution of branded in-house, client-based, and joint marketing projects ensuring phoenixNAP stays ‘top of mind’ in the market while adhering to the overall marketing strategy.
- Leverages Marketing Team content, design, PPC, web development, events, and social media resources to deliver marketing materials that follow the established product and sales directives.
- Communicates and works across departments, including with Product, Sales, and Support stakeholders, to create and share delivery roadmaps for branding, promotional, and product release marketing activities.
- Creates and establishes consistent messaging for campaigns, websites, email programs, and collateral activities that align with, support, and promote product and sales strategies.
- Interacts with existing clients and partners for testimonial, use case, and co-marketing activities.
- Develops project timelines and provides admin oversight for project management tool set.
- Provides Team oversight and an admin seat for marketing automation, relevant production tools and software solutions.
- Designates tasks and establishes project deadlines for all Marketing Team members.
- Proofs and quality-checks marketing deliverables.
- Organizes project, SOP, and Teams files.
- Tracks and reports on the effectiveness of marketing-related campaigns to company leadership.
Team Leadership:
- Coaches and mentors team members.
- Helps Marketing Team members with any issues they may encounter to maintain overall Team effectiveness.
- Actively seeks to promote a healthy team environment to help maintain and increase overall Marketing Team morale and individual team members’ job satisfaction.
- Marketing Team Leadership focuses to interact and assist members of other phoenixNAP teams and Senior Company Leaders to contribute to the overall company culture.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with marketing/creative traffic or project management is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, art, communications, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in marketing or project management for a technology company is highly preferred.
- Excellent fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to use and structure databases for the purpose of developing and maintaining marketing and leads lists. Data tracking and marketing automation, CRM or Dynamics skills considered an advantage
- Self-starter with the ability to organize tasks and prioritize actions by need and time frames
- Strong work ethic with ability to develop trusted relationships
- High degree of professionalism.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees/management.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and ability to follow through on customer requests
