Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Bookkeeper to support financial and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong command of QuickBooks, excellent organizational skills, and is comfortable working with different currencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter vendor invoices into the system and verify accuracy.
- Generate and issue client invoices through the system.
- Record incoming and outgoing payments in QuickBooks.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Manage accounts payable and prepare payment schedules.
- Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments and address delays.
- Process credit card transactions as needed.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (mandatory).
- Comfortable working with different currencies (mandatory).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with PDF tools.
- Experience with Help Scout or similar platforms is a plus.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools (mandatory).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential (years of experience are flexible).
- Prior experience with financial tasks and reconciliation is preferred but not required.
- English proficiency is required (bilingual candidates are not necessary).
