We are seeking a dynamic Training Manager to design, implement, and continuously improve operations training programs for a high-performing robotics delivery team. In this role, you will ensure frontline operators, technicians, and support staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality service. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to standardize processes, maintain compliance, and build a scalable training framework. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-growing, technology-driven environment, capable of making data-informed decisions and fostering a culture of learning and operational excellence. Your work will directly impact employee readiness, operational performance, and the growth of innovative last-mile delivery solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Design, deliver, and manage comprehensive training programs focusing on operational excellence, safety, and compliance.
  • Develop onboarding curricula for new hires, along with refresher and upskilling programs for existing staff.
  • Incorporate hands-on, classroom, and digital learning methods to meet diverse training needs.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training manuals for operational workflows.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics, feedback, and field audits.
  • Implement data-driven improvements to enhance productivity, safety outcomes, and operational readiness.
  • Partner with leadership to identify skills gaps and develop targeted solutions.
  • Train and mentor field trainers, supervisors, and managers to reinforce a culture of learning.

Champion a safety-first mindset

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in training, operations, or learning & development, ideally in logistics, robotics, or technology-driven industries.
  • Knowledge of OSHA general industry standards (29CFR1910) and experience in safety training or compliance.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver classroom-based and virtual training programs.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical learning experiences.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles, training evaluation methods, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Comfortable with operational tools, dashboards, spreadsheets, and BI platforms.
  • Ability to scale systems and processes in a fast-evolving, high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Google Sheets, Jira, and BI tools such as ThoughtSpot (or equivalent).

Preferred/Standout Qualifications:

  • Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, last-mile delivery, or similar operational environments.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
  • Continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma experience in a startup environment.
