About the Role
As a Customer Experience Representative at Verizon, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and providing personalized solutions. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic call center environment, juggling multiple responsibilities, including sales, product expertise, and billing support. Your dedication to delivering exceptional customer service will be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and ultimately, business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming customer calls, addressing inquiries about installation, disconnection, changes to service, and Verizon products and services.
- Proactively identify customer needs and offer relevant products and services to enhance their experience and drive sales.
- Contact customers by phone or in writing to discuss past due payments, resolving outstanding issues and improving customer satisfaction.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and disputes related to service, billing, rates, adjustments, and policy issues.
- Verify service order accuracy and completeness, making corrections and changes as needed to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts, to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Preferred Qualifications

- A related Associate Degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in customer service or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a customer service call center environment. Residence within 75 miles of the current reporting location for the life of the contract.
