Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist I to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving customer issues, and ensuring smooth order processing. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate monthly service calls to low-volume accounts in designated geographic areas, providing updates on new programs, promotions, products, and services.
- Assist customers with inquiries, issues, and problems, such as missed shipments, price adjustments, and backorders, striving for prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with field sales associates, warehouse associates, and customers to ensure seamless order processing and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Process phone, fax, mail, email, and verbal orders from customers, providing accurate information and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Perform data entry for order processing, accessing previous orders, and providing customers with current prices and information.
- Communicate effectively with customers, field sales associates, and internal departments to resolve issues, provide information, and ensure smooth operations.
- Make suggestions and recommendations to supervisors to continually improve customer service operations and processes.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field.
- Less than one year of directly related experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical distribution operations and products is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills are highly preferred but not required.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
