Job Summary

As a Pharmacist Centralized Services professional with Walgreens, you will be responsible for executing patient intervention pharmacy programs, driving pharmacy financial performance, and ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services. You will work remotely and be part of a team that is focused on delivering exceptional patient care and driving business results. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $27/hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute patient intervention pharmacy programs, including medication therapy management programs, vaccination services, and payer and pharma adherence and clinical programs.
• Drive pharmacy financial performance by implementing pharmacy programs to maximize reimbursements while improving patient health outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with clinical pharmacy services, including regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clinical networks in assigned areas and serve as a liaison and contact for the organization.
• Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leaders.
• Conduct data and clinical reviews and make necessary changes to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions.
• Review medication records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication therapy.
• Provide individualized patient/supplier consultation.
• Win the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns.
• Provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program, including comments from patients on the value of individual consultations.

Essential Qualifications

• Current pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a clinical or centralized services role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience with time management skills, including prioritizing and organizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Readiness to obtain additional state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
• Knowledge of insurance plans and pharmacy benefits.
• Experience with computer operating systems, including Windows and pharmacy management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
