Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative - Data Entry, you will be responsible for:
- Performing information passage and patient enrollment in accordance with state and government guidelines
- Utilizing Walgreens solution data entry methods and guidelines to process new patient enrollment by entering data into the proper system
- Handling patient prescription demands within HIPAA rules and entering top-off orders for processing
- Investigating to acquire missing prescription data and deciphering clinical truncations (SIG codes)
- Settling all data entries related to special cases
- Handling correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and settling outbound decisions to prescribers and patients as needed
- Resolving Outsider Oddballs by inspecting, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for handling according to individual arrangement prerequisites
- Providing assistance to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different areas
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Capabilities:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic level computer skills, including:
- Startup and shutdown of PC
- Using the mouse to point and click
- Starting and closing programs
- Switching between programs
- Saving files and printing reports
- Accessing data online
- Basic web search engine skills, including:
- Opening a browser
- Typing URLs in the right area
- Using a search engine
- Bookmarking a webpage
- Navigating back/forward/stop buttons
- Completing forms online
- Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, arranging files)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 18 years old or older
Preferred Capabilities:
- At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment
- At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a certificate/registration by the state as conceded by the state Board of Pharmacy or broadly recognized certification organization
- Experience providing customer care to internal and external clients, including fulfilling quality guidelines for services and assessment of customer satisfaction
- Middle to cutting-edge level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing documents)
- Familiarity with Spanish and English
