As a Full Stack Data Scientist at Walgreens, you will be responsible for:- Building and deploying machine learning models using technical expertise in data science, statistical modeling, probability and decision theory, and other quantitative techniques.
- Developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and data-driven decision making.
- Applying analytical rigor and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets, using advanced statistical methods such as predictive statistical models, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design, analysis, and data mining.
- Designing and implementing data visualization dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, research, software development, and business leaders, to define product requirements and provide analytical support.
- Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and engineers.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and applying this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
- Advanced experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data science frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:- A Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Experience with deep learning techniques, such as convolutional neural networks or recurrent neural networks.
- Experience with natural language processing or computer vision techniques.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies.
