Job Summary
The Part Time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing new patient enrollment, handling patient medication requests, and entering data into our pharmacy systems. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Walgreens' remedy information entry methods and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the appropriate system, handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines, and entering refill orders for processing.
- Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
- Resolve Outsider Oddballs by researching, gathering data, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual arrangement requirements, and make phone calls to backup plans and others to acquire data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve the Outsider Oddballs.
- Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations, and recognize and convey issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
- Acquire active professional license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintain a current professional license or certification.
Fundamental Capabilities
- Essential level computer skills, including starting and closing the computer, using the mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing data online.
- Basic web search skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
- Transitional level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and arranging reports.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Preferred Capabilities
- No less than one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Transitional to advanced level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and arranging documents.
- Familiarity with Spanish and English.
