We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to work in a remote environment, handling outbound calls to shareholders across the country. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for navigating conversations with shareholders to record their proxy vote over the phone, using a simple scripted call flow designed to ensure a smooth and efficient experience. This is a short-term, project-based opportunity that offers a unique chance to work from home, develop your customer service skills, and contribute to the success of our client's shareholder engagement and proxy voting operations.Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:- Handling outbound calls in a courteous and professional manner to shareholders across the country.
- Updating the database in an accurate and timely manner after each call to ensure seamless communication and record-keeping.
- Escalating any shareholder concerns to a supervisor when necessary, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Keeping the management team informed of any shareholder feedback, providing valuable insights to improve our services and operations.
- Meeting all targets for productivity, quality, attendance, and code of conduct, demonstrating your commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Staying up-to-date on campaign specifics, ensuring that you have a deep understanding of our client's shareholder engagement and proxy voting operations.
- Performing various tasks as assigned, including responding to inquiries via email or telephone, assisting trainers in developing proxy representatives, and completing routine administrative tasks for operations, training, or quality.
- Accepting inbound calls and responding to them within an acceptable time period in a courteous and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:- Have the ability to work from home in a virtual environment, with a reliable and high-speed internet connection (10+ Mbps) and a quiet space to work.
- Be equipped with a USB wired headset with microphone, a laptop or desktop with Windows 10 or macOS, and dual monitors (if possible).
- Have a personal landline or cell phone that can be dedicated during work hours, ensuring that you can receive and make calls without interruptions.
- Have a strong ability to use technology, including searching internal databases and navigating multiple screens.
- Be confident, friendly, and possess excellent phone skills, with clear pronunciation and the ability to present information in a logical and common-sense manner.
- Hold a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), with six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have a sense of pride and dependability regarding your career, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
